The leading light line Juliusplate is a leading light on the Lower Weser . Down the Weser it marks the fairway between Lemwerder and Berne .
The two towers each consist of a red steel tube with a white ribbon and a red lantern with a surrounding balcony and pointed dome. The 14 m high tower of the lower fire stands on a plinth enclosed with sheet piling , directly on the bank of the Lower Weser. At the same time it carries the lower light of the leading light line in Berne . The 32 m high upper fire is 490 m away on a meadow surrounded by a campsite .
The two beacons were put into operation in October 1983. They form a leading light line of 299.6 ° and show a synchronous white common mode light with a return of four seconds (Iso.W.4s). In the opposite direction, this section of the fairway is marked by the Lemwerder leading light line .
