Rick Mofina

Rick Mofina (* in Belleville , Ontario ) is a Canadian writer and former reporter . He writes detective novels and thrillers , but also short stories .

Life

Rick Mofina grew up in Belleville, Ontario . With the letter he started in elementary school and was when he 15 years old, he sold his first short story to a magazine in New Jersey . He studied journalism and English history at Carleton University in Ottawa .

After that he worked as a reporter. He reported from the USA , Canada, the Caribbean , Africa and Kuwait on the border with Iraq . With If Angels Fall 1999, his first book was published. Many of his books have been translated into other languages. Today he works full-time as a communications consultant in Ottawa and writes books and short stories on the side.
