Giant rim

The giant rim (or giant swing ) is a gymnastics exercise on the horizontal bar and on the uneven bars .

The gymnast's body hangs on the horizontal bar or on the uneven bar and is swung around the bar in its full length.

The giant rim can be carried out backwards (chest first), forwards (back first) and with one arm. In the giant wheel backwards Turner keep the stretching rod in Ristgriff (the forearms are in this case in pronation ), wherein the giant wheel forward in the comb , Ell- or Mixgriff .
