The Rifugio Quintino Sella ( 3585 m slm ), also: Rifugio Quintino Sella al Felik and Capanna Quintino Sella al Felik , is a refuge in the Valais Alps of the autonomous northern Italian region of Aosta Valley that is managed during the summer months . The Rifugio des Club Alpino Italiano (CAI) is located in the Valle del Lys belonging to the municipality of Gressoney-La-Trinité on the edge of the Felik Glacier ( Ghiacciaio di Felik ).
history
A first rifugio of the same name, named like the one built in 1981 after Quintino Sella , the founder of the CAI, was built in 1885. This Rifugio Quintino Sella (Vecchio) currently only serves as a winter room.
