The Rifugio Luigi Vaccarone is a managed refuge in the Cottian Alps of the northern Italian metropolitan city of Turin in the Piedmont region .
The hut stands at 2,747 meters above the Susa Valley near the Col de Clapier .
history
The rifugio was built in 1900 by the Turin Section of the CAI and is operated by the Chiomonte Section .
Accesses
The rifugio is on the Alta Via Val di Susa path between the French Refuge du Petit Mont Cenis and the Italian Rifugio Levi Molinari .
