Rigdzin Künsang Sherab ( Tib . : rig 'dzin kun bzang shes rab ; * 1636 in Pelyül ; † 1699 ) was a clergyman of the Pelyül branch of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism . He was the 1st throne holder of the Pelyül Monastery in Sichuan, founded in 1675 .

The monastery had close ties with the Martshangpa (smar tshang pa) branch of the Phagdru Kagyu school of the Kagyu school tradition.
