The two young scientists Shinya Yukimura ( 雪村 心 夜 ) and Ayame Himuro ( 氷 室 菖蒲 ) conduct research at Saitama University , both of whom have a similar amount of trust in mathematics to describe and solve all problems in the world. When one day Ayame confesses to her colleague Shinya that she must have fallen in love with him, he demands that this love be mathematically proven. Together with their colleagues, both of them are constantly developing new experiments and models to demonstrate their mutual affection.

The manga has been published in Comic Meteor magazine by Holp Shuppan since 2016 . The chapters have also been published in four anthologies so far. In 2018, the first adaptation for television came out as a four-part television drama by director Masatsugu Asahi and author Shūji Kō . A film that the same team produced followed on February 1, 2019.
2020 was the studio Zero-G an Anime -version by author Rintaro Ikeda . The implementation took place under the direction of Toru Kitahata , the character design comes from Yūsuke Isouchi .
