Riley Voelkel
Riley Voelkel (* 26. April 1990 in Elk Grove , California ) is an US-American - Canadian actress . From fall 2013 to 2018 she played a leading role in the spin-off of Vampire Diaries , The Originals , where she portrayed the witch Freya Mikaelson . She took on this role again in the spin-off Legacies . Before that, she played the role of Jenna Johnson in The Newsroom, among others .
