The Rileyryggen ( Norwegian ) is a small mountain in the East Antarctic Coatsland . It looms in the Pioneers Escarpment in the far east of the Shackleton Range .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1990 after Norris W. Riley of the British Antarctic Survey , who worked at Halley Station from 1968 to 1969 .
