Rima Fakih
Rima Fakih (born September 22, 1985 in Srifa , Lebanon ; Arabic ريما فقيه, DMG Rīmā Faqīh ) is a Lebanese- American beauty queen and winner of Miss USA 2010.
Life
Fakih moved with her family to New York in 1993 , where she attended St. John's Catholic Preparatory School. In 2003 the family moved to Dearborn , Michigan . There Fakih won the Miss Michigan title on September 19, 2009 .
As a representative of Michigan, she had already participated in the election of Miss Lebanon Emigrant in 2008 , where she reached third place. In the Miss USA elections on May 16, 2010, she was named the title holder. The native Lebanese, who grew up as a Muslim, was the first woman of her nationality, ethnicity and religion to achieve the title of Miss USA. In April 2016, it was announced that Fakih had converted from Islam to Maronite Christianity for her marriage .
She attended the University of Michigan , where she studied economics . She is planning a second degree in law .
After some previous appearances in the WWE , it was announced in February 2011 that she is aiming for a career in professional wrestling and has signed a contract with the WWE. At WWE, Fakih took part in the casting show WWE Tough Enough .
