Rimanda's Stonys

Rimandas Stonys (born July 10, 1953 ) Lithuanian manager and entrepreneur, general director (president) of the Lithuanian oil gas distributor Dujotekana and co-founder of the western Lithuanian group VLPFK , major shareholder of the Lithuanian energy companies " Geonafta ", " Naftos gavyba " (91%), "Dujotekana" and of the logistics company “ Krovinių terminalas ”.

Life

During the Soviet era he was the first party secretary of the Klaipeda district. Later A. Šimėnas lost the parliamentary elections. He was a member of the Klaipėda County Council, District Manager.

In 2002 he became honorary consul of Ukraine for the Lithuanian districts of Klaipėda , Telšiai and Tauragė (the seat of the honorary consulate is the city of Klaipėda ).

In 2006 , Rimandas Stonys was the insolvency administrator of the Lithuanian power plant Kauno termofikacijos elektrinė and, according to Veidas magazine, the fifth richest Lithuanian.

Rimandas Stonys is married, Mrs. Rasa (* 1977 ), florist, have the daughter Aušra and the son Marius.

Influence of Russia and Dujotekan

From 2006 to 2007 Rimandas Stonys was at the center of the scandal surrounding the VSD intelligence service and the influence of Russian capital on the Lithuanian economy via strategic companies such as Lietuvos ležinkeliai , Dujotekana u. a., where he was mistaken for an agent of Russian influence. The fluid boundaries between state and state-damaging activities were noted during the scandal.
