Rimantas Taraškevičius
Rimantas Taraškevičius (born July 18, 1949 in Biliūnai , Raseiniai district , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian politician, mayor of Klaipėda .
Life
After graduating from high school in Klaipėda in 1967 , he graduated from the Kauno politechnikos institutas with a degree in civil engineering in 1972 . In 1972 he worked as a foreman in the construction remainder of Klaipėda, from 1975 chief engineer, from 1980 director of the board. From 2001 to 2003, from 2003 to 2007 and from 2007 to 2011 he was the mayor of Klaipėda.
Since 2003 he has been a member of Lietuvos liberalų ir centro sąjunga .
