The Rimo Kangri III (also Rimo III ) is a mountain in the Rimo Muztagh in the eastern part of the Karakoram in the Indian union territory of Ladakh .
location
The Rimo Kangri III has a height of 7233 m . It is located about 2.4 km north of the Rimo Kangri I (7385 m) and its secondary peak Rimo Kangri II ( 7373 m ), with which it is connected by a ridge. The notch height is 615 m. The Middle Rimo Glacier lies on its northern slope and the Southern Rimo Glacier on the southeast slope . The Northern Terong Glacier flows on the southwest slope of the mountain .
Ascent history
The mountain was first climbed on July 14, 1985 by the two Britons Dave Wilkinson and Jim Fotheringham via the northeast ridge.

The Rimo Kangri III has several secondary peaks:
The 7,169 m high Rimo Kangri IV ( ⊙ ) is 1.6 km to the east and, due to its low notch height of 329 m, represents a secondary peak.
1.95 km further north-northeast is the 6882 m high Rimo Kangri V ( ⊙ ) with a notch height of 262 m.
Another 2.59 km north-northwest is the Rimo Kangri VI ( ⊙ ) with a height of 6846 m and a notch height of 446 m.
