The Ringseeinsel , formerly Fischerfleck , is the only island in the Tegernsee .

geography

The Ringseeinsel, like the entire Tegernsee, belongs to the city of Tegernsee . It is located in the south-western part of the Tegernsee only around 70 meters east of the reed belt near Abwinkl (southern district of the Bad Wiessee community ) and the Ringsee district of the Kreuth community . It is not located in the largely constricted part of the lake, Ringsee, from which it is named, but is around 230 meters in front of it.

The island is 7,774 square meters or just under 0.8 hectares and overgrown with grass and pastures . The official land surveying area of 1,940 square meters relates to parcel 1256 of the Tegernsee district and thus to the originally smaller area of the island.
