The Ringspitz is a striking mountain on the west side of the Tegernsee. It rises above the local Ringsee and forms the eastern end of the short Ringberg ridge .
The summit can usually be reached unmarked via mountain meadows that are steep at the end. At the summit there are two summit crosses, the main cross and a smaller one in a line of sight to the Tegernsee.
