Rinklingen has been part of the large district town of Bretten in Baden-Württemberg since 1971 with around 2280 inhabitants.
history
Rinklingen was first mentioned in a document in 768. This makes Rinklingen the oldest part of the city of Bretten. In 1971, the formerly independent municipality of Rinklingen was incorporated into the city of Bretten, which was welcomed by the population due to the close proximity and close interlinking of the two municipalities. Since then, the district has steadily increased in population and settlement area.

The Rinklinger industrial area is located on Rinklinger Straße at the transition to the city center. Companies such as the international animal feed manufacturer Deuerer and the Klumpp automatic lathe can be found here .
traffic
Rinklingen is connected to Karlsruhe city center as well as to the core city and the districts of Gölshausen and Bauerbach via the S4 of the Karlsruhe Stadtbahn every 20/40 minutes . In an easterly direction, the S4 line runs to Öhringen . Furthermore, the inner-city bus route 146 runs through the district, which leads via Diedelsheim and the core city to the Ruit district .
