Schillingstadt is a village and part of the municipality of Ahorn in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg .
geography
The village of Schillingstadt lies in the hilly landscape of the building land in the upper valley basin of the Hasselbach, which drains south to the Erlenbach, and is surrounded by an open wreath of forest at a distance of one to two kilometers from the town center. In the field in between there are some rows of trees and hedges, some of which stem from old viticulture.
In the village, the L 2885 from Angeltürn in the north to Oberwittstadt in the south and the L 514 from Schwabhausen in the east to Berolzheim in the west cross. The federal road 292 passes Schillingstadt without its own exit less than a kilometer to the north in the same direction. The next motorway junction is at the entrance to the A 81 , which is about three kilometers away on the east-west state road.
