Buch am Ahorn (also just Buch ) is a district of the municipality of Ahorn in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg .

history

In the 12./13. Buch am Ahorn was first mentioned in a document in the 19th century. The place was named after the maple forest of around 2,000 hectares in the district.

In 1936 the hamlet of Schwarzenbrunn was incorporated into Buch.

On December 1, 1971, the place was incorporated into the new municipality of Ahorn.
