location
Berolzheim is the largest district in terms of area in the municipality of Ahorn and is located halfway between Würzburg and Heilbronn in the flat, tree-poor landscape of building land (derived from bean land ), which is known for the Limes town of Osterburken an der Kirnau . The former village of Berolzheim is separated from the new building area that was built in the late 1960s by an extensive valley. The landscape around the cohesive built-up area is characterized by regular hills and fields, which are joined by dense coniferous forests in all directions after about one kilometer.

Towards the end of the 15th century, Kurmainz owned rulership rights and bought further rights from Friedrich von Rosenberg.
Modern times
