District Office Boxberg
The Boxberg District Office was an administrative district in Baden from 1813 to 1857, 1864 to 1872 and 1898 to 1924 . The Baden district offices were comparable in their function and size to a district .

District Office Boxberg
The District Office Boxberg was founded in 1813 and comprised 21 communities: Boxberg , Angelthürn (today: Angeltürn ), Beckstein , Berolzheim , Bobstadt , Dainbach , Epplingen , Heckfeld , Königshofen , Kupprichhausen , Lengenrieden , Oberschüpf , Sachsenflur , Schillingstadt , Schwabhausen , Schweigern , Seehof , Uiffingen , Unterschüpf , Windischbuch and Wölchingen .
In the same year, the surrounding offices and district offices of Gerlachsheim , Tauberbischofsheim and Wertheim were established . The seat of the district office was in Boxberg , which today belongs to the Main-Tauber district . The District Office Boxberg existed with interruptions from 1813 (as Office Boxberg ) to 1857 (when it was abolished), from 1864 (when the District Office Boxberg was created by moving the official seat of Krautheim to Boxberg) to 1872 (when it was abolished and its municipalities became the District Office Tauberbischofsheim were incorporated) and from 1898 (rebuilt) to 1924 (repealed), when it was finally dissolved and its area was assigned to the Krautheim district office .
