Leopold Haefelin

Leopold Haefelin (born October 28, 1792 in Waldkirch ; † September 1, 1872 in Bühl (Baden) ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Leopold Haefelin studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg . In 1813 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . In 1815 he passed the legal examination and became a legal intern at the Gengenheim district office. In 1817 he served in the lower courts in Karlsruhe. In 1819 he switched to the General Forestry Commission as an intern. In 1821 he was appointed university administrator at Heidelberg University. 1827 he became a bailiff and official office for district office Boxberg and in 1833 the district office Schwetzingen. In 1835 he became a senior bailiffpromoted. In 1841 he was appointed head of the Oberkirch district office and in 1847 of the Ettenheim district office. In 1849 he was retired.
