Bad Mergentheim
- Teutonic Order Museum in Mergentheim Castle - The Teutonic Order Museum presents the history of the Teutonic Order , the history of Bad Mergentheim , the Mörike Cabinet, the Neolithic Department in the Taubertal , a dollhouse collection and the Adelsheim antiquity collection. The museum's collection also includes Rehden Castle from the Kulmerland, reconstructed by Albrecht Duwe on a scale of 1:50 . Also worth mentioning is the Berwart stairs, a spiral staircase built by Blasius Berwart in 1574 .
- Bad Mergentheim Fire Brigade Museum
- Münsterschatz St. Johannes Baptist - The Münsterschatz Museum on the first floor above the sacristy of the St. Johannes Baptist Minster shows liturgical vessels and utensils from the late Gothic to the present day.
- Ottmar-Mergenthaler-Museum - birth house of Ottmar Mergenthaler with a memorial in the town hall of the Hachtel district . The watchmaker Ottmar Mergenthaler, born in Hachtel, invented the Linotype typesetting machine in the USA in 1886 . This line typesetting and casting machine for characters, which was revolutionary at the time, significantly accelerated typesetting, especially for books and newspapers. The museum is dedicated to the work of Ottmar Mergenthaler.
- Stuppacher Madonna - in the parish church of the Coronation of Mary in the Stuppach district . The Stuppacher Madonna was made by Matthias Grünewald in 1519 and is one of the most important late Gothic paintings in Germany.
- Würth Museum Bad Mergentheim - The permanent exhibition “Management culture around the Trillberg - then and now” in the Würth industrial park on the site of the former Teutonic barracks on the Drillberg . The exhibition aims to use historical examples to illustrate good and bad forms of leadership culture.
Boxberg
- Local history museum Boxberg - The local history museum in the old town hall from 1610 shows farm equipment (focus: green spelled production), a weapon collection, Art Nouveau furniture, capitals of the Boxberg castle ruins, rooms from the property of local history researcher Karl Hoffmann u. a.

- Fire Department Museum in Waldmannshofen Castle
- Thimble Museum - Since 1982 there has been a thimble museum at the Kohlesmühle , which besides thimbles of all kinds also exhibits other sewing utensils of the "thimble guild". As the only special museum of its kind in the world, it presents over 3500 exhibits from the thimbles' guild.

Tauberbischofsheim
- Pharmacy museum in the former Sonnenplatz pharmacy
- Farm museum in the district of Distelhausen - The farm museum is located in a former homestead and shows around 5,000 tools and machines that illustrate the professional profile of the farmer and convey life and work on a farm for the past 150 years.
- Dittwar Village Museum - The museum building, a former rural property, houses the apartment, barn, cellar and stable in one building. In one room there is a shoemaker's workshop as a reminder that a few decades ago a shoemaker really did his trade here. A special feature of the house is that stone stairs lead from the kitchen directly into the cellar. The apartment, stable and barn are furnished with inventory from the beginning of the 20th century.

- Tauberbischofsheim toad collection - collection of around 2000 toads, made from all conceivable materials and from all over the world, in the toads home at the train station.
- Tauberfränkisches Landschaftsmuseum in the Kurmainzischen Schloss Tauberbischofsheim - The museum houses valuable costumes, facilities of bourgeois and aristocratic living culture as well as finds from early history.
- VS School Museum in Tauberbischofsheim - The museum on the premises of VS Vereinigte Spezialmöbelfabriken documents the history and development of national and international school architecture and school furniture from the end of the 19th century to the present day. The exhibition focuses on various school furniture exhibits from home and abroad. In addition, the exhibition also presents educational , ergonomic and cultural-historical aspects of school furniture history as well as a show of groundbreaking, innovative school architecture from the 20th and 21st centuries from all over the world.
Weikersheim
- Museum Schloss Weikersheim - Museum in Schoss Weikersheim with a baroque palace park and alchemy museum (so far the only one in Germany). The originally furnished baroque living quarters are accessible as a castle museum.

- Pfeiferstube in the district of Niklashausen - In memory of the Pauker von Niklashausen , Hans Böhm , a Pfeiferstube was set up as a museum and memorial with various exhibitions.
- Synagogue with museum in the Wenkheim district - the former synagogue became a documentation center for Jewish culture in the Main-Tauber district.

- Former Cistercian Abbey Bronnbach
- Glass Museum Wertheim - The museum presents and documents the history and application of the material glass from antiquity to the high-tech products of the present. The museum, founded in 1976, has 650 m² of exhibition space and has around 16,000 visitors a year. In the museum, the regional and international history as well as the diversity of the material glass is conveyed. The teaching show shows over 3500 years of glass production and use and brings the material - from drinking glass to laboratory glass - to life.
- County Museum Dependance Rural Cultural Property in Bronnbach Monastery
- Grafschaftsmuseum and Otto Modersohn cabinet in the old town hall of Wertheim - The Grafschaftsmuseum Wertheim includes the collections of the city of Wertheim and the Wertheim Historical Society. It protects and maintains cultural products that were created on the area of the former Grafschaft Wertheim , were used here or have a content-related relationship to the landscape, culture or history of the region.
- Museum “ Schlösschen im Hofgarten ” in Wertheim- Hofgarten - On April 8, 2006, an art museum was opened in the Schlösschen im Hofgarten. Three private art collections (paintings and watercolors from the Berlin Secession , classical Parisian porcelain, paintings from Heidelberg and Karlsruhe Romantics) are housed here, as well as special exhibitions and cultural events.
- Uebe Thermometer Museum, collection with over 1000 clinical thermometers, insight into the manufacture of thermometers, overview of thermometers with different filling liquids and other measuring devices that have to do with temperature
