Hofgarten is a residential area in the Eichel / Hofgarten district of the large district town of Wertheim in the Main-Tauber district of Baden-Württemberg in the Stuttgart administrative district .

Hofgarten is 143 m above sea level. NHN in the east of the city center on Landesstraße 2310 .
history
After the Second World War, the new residential area “Hofgarten” was built on the slope above the old village of Eichel , which today extends to the foothills of Wertheim's old town.

The mother house church serves the Protestants who belong to the parish of the Eichel / Hofgarten district ( Wertheim church district ) as a place of worship. The Catholics living here belong to the parish of St. Lioba ( Deanery Tauberbischofsheim ).

The Hofgartenschlösschen is located on the thoroughfare to Wertheim, a small rococo palace built in 1777 by Count Friedrich Ludwig as a summer residence .
