Reinhardshof is a district of the large district town of Wertheim in the Main-Tauber district of Baden-Württemberg in the administrative district of Stuttgart .

Reinhardshof is 285 m above sea level. NHN in the west of the city center on Landesstraße 508 .
history
Originally the Reinhardshof was an agricultural property. In 1937 the area was taken over as an airfield and barracks for the German Air Force. After the end of the Second World War, the barracks were initially used as a camp for prisoners of war and forced laborers, and later as accommodation for displaced persons and refugees. From 1952 it was taken over as a base by the US armed forces, called Peden Barracks .
After the US military withdrew, the area was converted into a modern, attractive district. Today the infrastructure includes shopping facilities, restaurants, service and industrial companies, a cinema, sports facilities, kindergarten and elementary school. The new Red Cross Clinic was built in 2016 .
On December 31, 2017, Reinhardshof had 939 inhabitants.

Reinhardshof is influenced by Protestants. The Michaelskirche serves the Protestants, who belong to the parish of the district Wartberg ( church district Wertheim ), as a place of worship. The Catholics living here belong to the parish of the core town of Wertheim ( deanery Tauberbischofsheim ).
Islam
The Selimiye Mosque in Wertheim has been an Islamic prayer house in the Reinhardshof district since 2009 for mainly Turkish Muslims . The mosque is run by the Mosque Association Turkish-Islamic Community of Wertheim e. V. , which is a member of the umbrella organization DİTİB .

The Reinhardshof district council consists of chairman Walter Ploch and eight other district councils, two of which represent the Besteheider Höhe residential area .
