Bettingen is a town in the large district town of Wertheim in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg .

Bettingen is 148 m above sea level. NHN north-east of the Main loop on the south-eastern edge of the Main square. The village of Bettingen ( ⊙ ) as well as the residential and industrial area Almosenberg ( ⊙ ), which is widely known for the factory outlet center Wertheim Village , lie within the boundaries of the former municipality of Bettingen .

The Schweizer Stuben was a hotel in Bettingen, whose restaurant of the same name was one of the best in Germany for years. From 1974 to 2002 it was awarded one to two stars in the Michelin Guide .
