Main loop (Urphar)
The Main loop near Urphar is a loop of the river Main on the southeastern edge of the Main Square in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria .

The Main, flowing down from Marktheidenfeld , runs east of Wertheim near Urphar for almost seven kilometers around the wooded kingdom of heaven , 234 m above sea level. NHN high mountain that forms the southeastern tip of the Spessart . The mountain was partially deforested in 1990 by hurricane Wiebke . At its narrowest point, the loop is a good 400 m wide. The Main loop stretches from the mouth of the Aalbach near Bettingen to the mouth of the Wittbach east of Kreuzwertheim . In the north, the Lohr – Wertheim line ran through the Bettingberg tunnel . The Main is dammed at Eichel at the Eichel barrage. The river forms the border between the town of Wertheim in Baden-Württemberg ( Main-Tauber district ) and the Kreuzwertheim market in Bavaria ( Main-Spessart district ). From a geological point of view, it separates the red sandstone Spessart and the shell limestone areas of the Franconian plate . Between Urphar and acorn lies on the steep slope of the left bank of the Main about 30 ha large nature reserve suffering Rain . Landesstraße 2310 and the Maintalradweg run in the valley of the Urphar Main Loop.
The Heunweg runs through the kingdom of heaven. The Wettenburg was once located there . The Himmelreich gave the parish community Haseltal - Himmelreich its name.
