Wartberg is a district of the large district town of Wertheim in the Main-Tauber district of Baden-Württemberg in the administrative district of Stuttgart .

Wartberg is west of the city center on state road 508 .
Waters
The Staffelwehrklinge rises in the east of the village and flows into the Tauber in the south of the city center .
history
The first "Wartbergsiedlung" was built in the 1930s and consisted of about a dozen apartment buildings for officers from the military airfield on Reinhardshof . As part of a federal demonstration building project, an ensemble of high-rise buildings that could be seen from afar, as well as apartment blocks, terraced houses and bungalows, was built on the Wartberg in the mid-1960s; a primary school and an ecumenical church center were also built at this time. On December 31, 2017, Wartberg had 3,082 inhabitants.
