Wermutshausen is a district of Niederstetten in Hohenlohe , northern Württemberg .

geography

The village of Wermutshausen is located in the valley of the Ebertsbronner Bach, a right tributary of the Vorbach that kinks from the west to the north . Two kilometers north in the valley is the hamlet of Ebertsbronn, which belongs to Wermutshausen and has 45 inhabitants. The landscape is characterized by the cultivation of fields on the plateau, which is still practiced today, and viticulture on the valley slopes. The striking stone bars bear witness to the extensive vineyards in the past . The two villages are affected by structural changes in agriculture and are slowly developing into pure residential areas.

history

On January 1, 1974, Wermutshausen was incorporated into Niederstetten.
