Rio Pardo is a city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul in southern Brazil . It is located about 135 km west of Porto Alegre . The towns of Santa Cruz do Sul , Pántano Grande , Cachoeira do Sul , Encruzilhada do Sul , Passo do Sobrado , Minas do Leão , Candelária , Vera Cruz and Vale Verde are neighboring .
