Risti (German: cross ) is a former rural community in the Estonian district of Lääne with an area of 167.8 km². Since 2013 it has belonged to the rural municipality of Lääne-Nigula . It had 863 inhabitants (as of October 1, 2008).

The untouched landscape of the nature reserve of Marimetsa was ideal for hiking.
Villages
In addition to the main town Risti ( Risti alevik ), the rural community also included the villages of Jaakna , Kuijõe , Piirsalu and Rõuma .
