Rõuma is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Lääne-Nigula in Lääne County in Estonia . Until 2013 it belonged to the rural community of Risti .

The place has 54 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is located immediately south of the village of Risti .

Nature tourism

The stream Marimetsa oja flows west of the town center . From the village, a nine-kilometer hiking trail runs west over the Kuresilma mountain into the Marimetsa raised bog ( Marimetsa raba ). It has been designated a nature reserve since 1981. There is an observation tower at the edge of the path. From there a boardwalk begins through the raised bog. The flora and fauna are rich in species. The golden eagle nests in the untouched nature .
