Luigu is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Lääne-Nigula in Lääne County in Estonia . Until 2013 it belonged to the now dissolved rural community Taebla .

Population and location

The place has 36 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). Its area is 10.7 square kilometers. The Taebla River ( Taebla jõgi ) flows through the village .

A large part of the Palivere moor ( Palivere raba ) belongs to the local area.
