Nõmmemaa is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Lääne-Nigula (until 2017: rural municipality Nõva ) in Lääne County .

Population and location

The lake Veskijärv

The place has 22 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011).

The Nõva River ( Nõva jõgi ) flows through the village .

Nõmmemaa is best known for three larger boulders : the Edu kivi (circumference 24.4 m) and the two Linama kivid (circumference 24.1 m and 16.1 m).

The 184.2 hectare lake Veskijärv belongs to the area of ​​the village. The Veskijõgi River flows through it .
