Ohtla

Ohtla (German Ochtel ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Lääne-Nigula (until 2017: rural municipality Martna ) in Lääne County in Estonia .

The place has eleven inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is located 24 kilometers southeast of the county capital Haapsalu .
The local manor belonged to Haapsalu County between 1628 and 1691. It was converted into a land post in 1865 .
Regular summer theater performances have been taking place on the Saueaugu farm since 2001. They were brought into being by the Estonian theater director and cultural journalist Margus Kasterpalu (* 1961).
