In 1811 the Mennick estate was created or, in direct translation, from the Estonian Tannenhof . It was converted into a land post in 1865 . The Estonian farmer Jakob Peets bought it twenty years later. Later the lands fell to the Bauern-Agrar-Bank, which distributed the land.
