Väike-Nõmmküla

Väike-Nõmmküla (Swedish Persåker , German (Klein-) Nömmküll ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Lääne-Nigula (until 2017: rural municipality Noarootsi ) in Lääne County in Estonia .
Population and location
The place has fourteen inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is located thirteen kilometers northeast of the county capital Haapsalu .
The place name is officially bilingual Estonian and Swedish, as the village was part of the traditional settlement area of the Estonian Swedes until it was resettled at the end of World War II .
history
The place was first mentioned in 1536 under the name Perszacker . But he is probably much older. Initially it had a Swedish-speaking population. In 1641 he was recorded under the name Klein-Nemptküll .
