Risto Tarkkila is a former Finnish ski jumper .
Career
Tarkkila played his first and only international tournament with the Four Hills Tournament in 1965/66 . He achieved his best individual result with 18th place in the opening competition on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf . However, after he only reached the 58th place on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and only the 84th place on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck , he broke off the tour after three of the four competitions and did not travel with the team to Bischofshofen . In the tour's overall ranking he reached 72nd place with 456.5 points.
