Rites at Dawn is the third studio album by the Norwegian retro-prog band Wobbler . It will be officially released on May 16, 2011, but the record company Termo Records had already sent it to pre-orderers a few days earlier in order to curb pre-releases illegally.
Style and reception
On "Rites at Dawn" the musicians - Wobbler and the two guest musicians Ketil Vestrum Einarsen and Hanne Rekdal - play a retro prog influenced by Yes . The musical focus has been moved from the melancholy of the previous albums to a concentration on melodies and the singing of Andreas Prestmo.
