The manor Wildenrath in Kuckumer Road 61 is in the district Wanlo in Mönchengladbach ( Nordrhein-Westfalen ).

The building was built before 1829. It was entered under No. K 082 on August 8, 1990 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

location

The property is located immediately south-east of Wanlo on the road to Kuckum in the Niers Aue, which also feeds the complex's water graves.

architecture

It is a four-winged brick courtyard open on the living side with a gate passage. The farm buildings have been structurally changed and converted several times. Steep, tile-covered saddle roofs , with a pent roof- like overhang towards the inner courtyard .

The house is a free-standing two-storey brick building under a tiled hipped roof with mid-axially arranged gables on both long sides. For reasons of local history, settlement history, territorial history and architectural reasons, and because of its dominant location, the property is undoubtedly worth protecting as an important architectural monument .
