The River Dun is a river in Wiltshire and Berkshire , England . It originates in Great Bedwyn . Its course in north or northeast and finally east direction follows in the direct vicinity of the Kennet and Avon Canal mostly on the northern side of the canal, only between Froxfield and west of Hungerford it runs on the southern side. The Dun flows into the River Kennet east of Hungerford .
