history

The day trip vessel was 1970 to the shipyard Schmidt in Oberkassel (Bonn) as Verona from the stack behind. In 1979 it was rebuilt according to an original blueprint for a paddle steamer from the Mississippi and renamed River Lady . Since then it has been used for boat trips on the Rhine. Until 1988 the home port was Bonn and it was used on the Middle Rhine. The home port has been Wesel since 1989 and it sails on the Lower Rhine. The ship has 275 saloon seats and 225 open deck seats. In addition to the scheduled missions, the River Lady is offered all year round as an event ship for charter .
