The River Loud is a river in the Forest of Bowland , Lancashire , England . The River Loud arises at the southern foot of the Parlick . The river initially flows in a southerly direction, but then turns north of the town of Longridge again in a northerly direction. The River Loud joins the River Hodder a little west of Doeford Bridge .
