The River Ouayaneri (also: River Quayaneri ) is a river on the east coast of Dominica . It rises in the area of the Morne Trois Pitons National Park and forms the border between the parishes of Saint David and Saint Patrick .

geography

The River Ouayaneri rises with several source streams on the ridge between Morne Macaque and Morne Watt (Grande Soufrière Hills, other source: ), on the border with the Parish Saint George . From a height of 840  m above sea level , the source streams flow steeply to the east in the deeply cut valley and flow together in the basin, then past Palmiste and Bois Blanc in the south, as well as the Carse O'Gowrie Estate plantation , where the Taberi River empties. Soon after, the river flows into the Bout Sable Bay , just north of the Corossol settlement in the Atlantic.

Neighboring rivers are the Bibiay River in the north and Carse O'Gowrie River in the lower reaches, and the Sarisari River in the south.
