The River Rhaeadr ( Welsh. Afon Rhaeadr ) is a river located in Wales .
The River Rhaeadr is located in the Unitary Authority Powys on the border between Central and North Wales. The flow Afon Disgynfa falls near the village llanrhaeadr-ym-mochnant over the Pistyll Rhaeadr , the highest waterfall of Wales, 73 m in depth. From here the River Rhaeadr begins until it joins the Afon Tanat southwest of Oswestry .
