Rivière False ( English False River ) is a 125 km long river in the north of the Canadian province of Québec .

It has its origin in the Lacs Turgis in the center of the Labrador Peninsula . From there it flows north to Ungava Bay , into which it flows 55 km north-northeast of Kuujjuaq . It is the first major river east of the mouth of the Rivière Koksoak .
