Riyo Mori
Riyo Mori ( Japanese 森 理 世 , Mori Riyo ; born December 24, 1986 in Shizuoka , Japan ) is a Japanese beauty queen , dancer and model . She gained notoriety when she was elected Miss Universe in 2007 as the third Japanese woman in the history of the beauty pageant .
She won the election in Mexico City in May 2007 . She was able to prevail against the candidates from Brazil and Venezuela , who placed second and third. She received the crown from the hands of last year's winner Zuleyka Rivera from Puerto Rico .
