Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza
Zuleyka Jerrís Rivera Mendoza (born October 3, 1987 in Cayey , Puerto Rico ) is a Puerto Rican beauty queen and model .
Life
Rivera took part in the 2006 Miss Puerto Rico election and won the title. She then represented her country in the Miss Universe election . The 19-year-old was also able to win this choice. She was the fifth Puerto Rican to receive this title and followed in the footsteps of her compatriots Denise Quiñones (2001), Dayanara Torres (1993), Deborah Carthy-Deu (1985) and Marisol Malaret (1970).
During her tenure, she performed various representative tasks. For example, she performed at the United Nations' “Messages of Peace Concert” . Since then, Zuleyka Rivera has been working as a photo and catwalk model and took part in the Heart Truth Fashion Show 2009 in this context . Among other things, she can be seen in the video for the song Despacito by Luis Fonsi .
