The Roadend Nunatak ( English for Wegendenunatak ) is a distinctive nunatak in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises 6 km west-northwest of Bastion Hill on the north flank of Darwin Glacier .
The team to explore the Darwin Glacier in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) named it so because it served as a landmark for sled teams and aircraft to find the camp of this team.
