The Bastion Hill (English for stronghold hill ) is a 1490 m high mountain near the Hillary Coast in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Brown Hills of the Cook Mountains, it protrudes south into the Darwin Glacier immediately east of Touchdown Glacier .
The team to explore the Darwin Glacier in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) gave it its descriptive name.
