Roaring Valley ( English for Brausendes Tal ) is a valley filled with moraine rubble in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is on the north side of Mount Dromedary in the Royal Society Range . The valley was once traversed by merging glaciers that rise northeast and north of Mount Kempe and Mount Dromedary.
Participants in a campaign from 1960 to 1961 as part of New Zealand's Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions gave the valley a descriptive name in memory of the prevailing strong winds that destroyed the expedition camp at the entrance to the valley.
